According to Yang Zhennings judgment at the 2001 China Association for Science and Technology Annual Conference, he believes that in the next three or four decades:

In the above three areas of the product, if pollution enters, it can constitute obstacles, short circuits, sources of impurities and potential defects. However, as far as the level of human development is concerned today, technology has improved, equipment has improved, and peoples knowledge has improved. However, the environment has only regressed, air quality has deteriorated, and pollution has increased. Therefore, in order to enter the strategic direction of the three major technologies, in addition to the process itself, it is important to create a clean and indoor micro-environment to the cleansing challenge.
It can be seen that there is a close relationship between clean technology and the three strategic directions.
